Marc Jacobs is leaving LV, as confirmed today by Bernard Arnault CEO and chairman of LVMH, after Jacobs final show.
The collection was entirely black, as his first collection for the label was, all the models wore a headdress made of black feathers. He aswell incorporated elements from his past collections, a carousel, a fountain, a clock and the escalators, celebrating his past hits during 16 years of success as creative director of Louis Vuitton. Marc dedicated the show to all the women who have inspired him and the "show girl" in every one of them.
Jacobs is leaving LV to fully focus on his own brand. It haven't been announced who the successor will be, although rumors says there's a chance Nicolas Ghuesquiere might be joining the luxury fashion house, no confirmation yet.
